Spring break is a tradition in my family to take a vacation and get away from Vegas. I look forward to this trip every year. I know that it will always be some where fun, warm, and with a beach. Those are a must from my family. So this year our family went to Oahu and stayed at Waikiki. It was an absolute blast with lots of fun memories. Thanks Mom and Dad! Here are a few pictures from our fun filled week.

Much Needed Update!!
Wow it’s been quite some time since we have updated our blog. So I figure I would do a complete update since the last time we posted anything!
Our first Christmas together was perfect. Shane and I had a nice Christmas morning opening presents just us and then headed over to my families to open gifts and then on to the Huntsman’s to open gifts. Overall Christmas was fabulous and much more relaxing than we thought it would be splitting it up between two families.
We have decided that since Shane gets two Saturday’s off a month that we need to spend them wisely. Recently we just went out to Valley of Fire, which I had never been too, and hiked around all day. Diesel sure enjoyed being outside and kept right up along side of us. Actually he was doing a lot better than me keeping up with Shane! HAHA
Shane turned 24 on Feb. 2! Man he is getting old. For his birthday I bough him Zac Brown Band tickets and some new Oakley’s. We spent his birthday by going out to dinner and spending time with both families.
The most exciting event that has taken place in 2010, in my opinion, would be the fact that we were lucky enough to get tickets to the George Strait and Reba McEntire concert. My goodness can I just tell you George gets me every time and I love him more and more. Let’s just say I have seen him a total of probably close to 10 times and his standing on stage just playing the guitar NEVER EVER gets old. It always makes me weak in the knees.
Other events that have no pictures to go along would be us seeing funny man Bill Engvall for Valentine’s Day. The Zac Brown Band concert is this weekend and I will be sure to take pictures. We are going to Hawaii at the end of this month for spring break so I am sure there will be plenty of pictures to follow. We are excited to get away for a week and enjoy some sun, warmth, and the beach. We or I guess I should say “I” am looking forward to baseball season starting and taking many road trips to California to see some games. YAY for spring time, baseball, and summer on it’s way!

Merry Christmas… Early!!!
Christmas came a little early to the Huntsman household this season. Santa brought a 10 week old mini dachshund that we have named Diesel. We have absolutely loved having him and are looking forward to many years with him.

“23”
I recently celebrated my 23rd birthday back on November 5th. Wow 23 sounds weird to say. Not quite sure how I feel about this new age. But I guess I better get used to it because the number only keeps going up.
I had a fabulous birthday weekend with both families and Shane. Yes weekend, if you don’t know me that well I pretty much celebrate my birthday all weekend long. HAHA On my actually birthday Shane and I went to my favorite place… Yard House. Can I just tell you they have the best Mac ‘N’ cheese in the whole world. It’s delicious to say the least. On Friday night Shane and I went to see Craig Morgan in concert. The poor guy was sicker than a dog but he still put on a fabulous performance. We quickly ran to buy his CD’s after the concert was over. Saturday my family all went out to dinner, minus Jessica and the kids, to Ricardo’s. We were easily entertained by the Hispanic Neil Diamond. Sunday we celebrated with the Huntsman’s. My sister in law Tiffany’s birthday was the 7th so we celebrated our birthday’s together. I am very blessed for the two wonderful families and husband I have. Thanks everyone!

“Brunson Fright Dome”
Halloween weekend is a very serious holiday at the Brunson household. My older brother, Justin, absolutely thrives for Halloween to roll around each year. Between decorating the house with webs, spiders, tombstones, pirate flags, and skeleton heads it is the house on the street that kids love to come to. Let’s just say it makes for some good entertainment that involves screaming kids and even adults. Shane and I had a great time passing out candy, taking our nephew trick or treating, and eating my mom’s fabulous homemade chili. It is always a party and always a great time had by all!
The is our sweet little ghost pumpkin!!The Brunson Family Pumpkins
Just enjoying the screaming and crying of children scared by the dead pirate…
This is the cutest little cheerleader and Thomas the Train I have ever seen!
This is why children are frightened of the “Brunson Fright Dome!”
If I were a kid, this is the last house on the street I would want to go up too.

Our Busy Life
Life does not ever seem to slow down at our house. I really thought once all the wedding planning was over that things would settle down, but I’ve decided life never does. It feels like we are always constantly on the go. One day I have a feeling that I will get good at blogging, but I can not promise that will happen anytime soon. I am busy being a full-time student, working 30 hours a week and can’t wait for December to roll around so that I can be DONE! Shane is busy working his tail off 5 to 6 days a week.
The whole 2 1/2 months that we have been married has been busy with trips, school, and work. Over Labor Day weekend we went to Duck Creek with my family. We rented a cabin up there and had an absolute blast. It was my first time being up there and it was hard to come back home to the real world, but that seems to be hard no matter where I go on vacation. We did lots of fishing, playing with our niece and nephew, roasting marshmallows, and playing horseshoes. Shane took me out fly fishing for my first time. It was so fun. I laugh at the pictures cause I look like a total diva out in the middle of the water with diamond sunglasses, hair all done up. But I was glad he taught me and let’s just say there will be many more fly fishing trips for us two. We caught about 15 fish between the two of us.
There will be more pictures later… we took most of our pictures on Shane’s camera and can’t find the cord to download them so until then these will have to do. There are pictures of us casting and stripping in the fish we caught!
